The idea for Maya began over 10 years ago in an actual home healthcare agency. Our founder noticed problems with his electronic medical record (EMR) system. The software should’ve made documentation easier; instead, his staff was working with a sluggish, rigid user interface.

Maya was founded with the goal of creating a flexible, mobile application capable of handling all of an agency’s documentation needs. In Sanskrit, Maya means “magic.” That was our vision for our end user: an experience that’s streamlined, painless, and…well…magical!

Our development process included input from nurses, administrators, user experience designers, and CMS experts. The end result is a software that’s fast, easy to use, and designed with real people in mind. But don’t take our word for it—see for yourself!
